Thank You!
8:33 PM
Thank you all for your comments - I took each one to heart. After finally making the decision to get Nate and the girls vaccinated; Nate came down the croup this afternoon. He woke up from his nap all croupy with labored breathing so we went for our appointment (I had moved up the shot appointment so I wouldn't chicken out) and he was officially diagnosed with croup. Emma and Sophie both got the mist and they rescheduled Nate for Friday at 9:00 AM.
Again, thank you for all of your comments and words of support.
Now, we will see how I survive the night with a croupy, diabetic, grumpy baby boy!

Oh, how I hate the croup! B had it in the winter for 3 years. It is so sad and scary! I am so sorry! BOO croup! BOO!!!!!!
oh yes croup . I hate it too . If it gets too bad remember to take him into a steamy bathroom sometimes it helps and it is not an old wives tale even if you have heard it is. Hugs to you and I hope you get some sleep.
Hey Laura! Just found your blog- welcome to the diabetes OC- I know you've already found amazing support here! I don't know what I would do without these women...they help me get through my day! Anyhow....I'm going to add you to my list, if that's okay.
Oh...we're getting the H1N1 vaccine before the end of the week. I had worried about the safety of it, too- but in the end decided the risk was to great with Jada's health. Hope your little guy is better soon!
