A Few New Things ---

Thanks to Lora and Willie over at Our Family - - - we decided to try a new pod site for Nate last night --

So far - so good.  It's still on - we're having good numbers and he didn't mind the insertion (too much).
Today after bath-time we tried something else new . . .

Notice anything different about Nate's attire?  Yea, yea, yea - I know - he never has pants on but -- anything else? Oh yea - he's rockin' the Lightening McQueen big boy underwear!!
Wish me luck!!

He is such a rock star! Good luck with the training...My boys with D took much longer. I didn't try until after 3 years old with the last two. But Nate is SUPER! He can do it! You can do it!

My daughter is currently potty training my grandson and it's been going pretty smoothly. I hope it goes well for you too!

Loving the header! :)

My 2 and a half year old rocks those same Lightning undies. Potty training stinks...literally! My guy does pretty good then he'll poop in his undies and when I ask why he says, "cuz I'm silly?" Uh, no. Anyhow, best of luck!! Nate is such a cutie!

So cute! Thanks for sharing...we're about to start the potty training too. Good luck! We've stuck to having the Dexcom sensor on Alex's tush, but it fails so often...planning to go to the additional Dexcom-sponsored training this Wednesday night and hope to learn more tips!

The pod looks so big on Nate! Does he have any sub-Q tissue on his tummy? I have never tried a site on Joe's ABD as there doesn't seem to be anything to stick it into. I fear his bum is running out of "valuable", absorbing real estate.

Awesome on the numbers and on the potty training. Nate is rockin' those unders! He is soooo gonna get even with you one day for the tush and undies photos! LOL.

oh my goodness!! 1st love the new toper.. I need help with that so maybe we can trade help... 2nd HOLLY COW!! I noticed the underware instantly... I CANT BELIEVE he is there already.. FUNNY how he is 6 months ahead of Joshua yet it seems so much more normally!! Any advise??? When is his bday again?

You are rockin the tummy site Laura and Nate! The tummy is where we get the best numbers for Grace. Hope it works for you guys too. He is THE cutest thing and he is even more adorable in big boy pants!

That's our boy!! Love the undies and glad the site is so far working!! Anxious for that new omni pod to make the appearance since it will fit his small body better! :) Go Nate! (and please Lord, give Laura potty patience! :)

Reyna - he does have some sub Q tissue. This picture he's stretching and he looks mean and lean --- he's not. I was a little worried putting it on his tummy but there was plenty of tissue to 'pinch up' when I placed the pod and bgs are good. We, too are running out of real estate and his little bum needs a break. With Dex on his arm I'm hoping to get some good use from tummy time! :)

Nate is getting SO big! So cool he can wear the pod on his belly..Addison still doesn't have enough fat there to do it! Congrats on the undies..hope it goes better over there than it has gone over here!

I'm jealous of the big boy underwear! I got Willie's potty chair out last week and he's really wanting Spiderman undies. We'll see.

I'm so glad the tummy is working. Willie is more on the tall & lean side, so we don't do his tummy very often - just happened to be there on the day I took the pic. It's great when options open up! :) Good luck with ALL of those changes! :)

Yeah. Potty training is NOT fun. But he looks sooooo cute in her underpants!! And yay to a new pod and Dex Place!

How adorable he is.... I am saddened seeing the pod and Dexcom on a child so young, pod, especially seems so large on his little body. Hard to imagine D striking the baby/toddler age children, but it does..... There he is, though, with a smile on his face and does not look like he has a care in the world. You are obviously taking such good care of him. He is just the cutest!

Way to go Nate! We are going to get Joshua into some big boy pants too. So proud of you!
